lyrics

Talk on my life like say they know it
Sheer ignorance yeah they show it
Say it with their chest seeds of hate they’re sowing
Division amongst the lower class is growing
The Frisbee of blame you know they wan throw it
They wan kill my brother even though they don’t know him
Say it with their chest seeds of hate they’re sowing
Fascism and racism continually growing
Increase the hate like say they wrote it
Anti lynching bill yeah they slow it
Say it with their chest seeds of hate they’re sowing
The mindless, selfish, mentality is growing
You can see the right but to see the left it takes focus
They want to control our speech like say they wrote it
Say it with their chest seeds of hate they’re sowing
Censorship of our opinions is growing

Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you
Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you

As a white man I understand that I’ll never understand however I stand
See to me racism is a word with a meaning
But to my people of colour that word is a feeling
And yeah yeah all lives should really matter
But right now they don’t and they won’t not until the black ones do
See I have a mrs, 2 kids who are all mixed heritage
And through the midst of this shit I visualise this
They get pulled over one day in the car by some pigs
And get put through some awfully traumatic shit
And in a worse case scenario Shan doesn’t come home
And I’m left to raise my 2 kids all alone
All because the colour of her skin tone
And now I’m dancing all alone with a broken left speaker
In a Christian country searching for zen
Or three wise men,
Preparing for when Chris DeBurgs spaceman comes travelling again
Happy New Year
Global warming melted Santa Claus' home away
As lost children of Aleppo reach foreign shores with a hope to stay
They say there's no room at the inn and these vagrants are illegal
With this lack of empathy you take the human out of people
I’m on planet where different humans are not treated equal
Where black lives don't matter and there's only temporary peace talks
But the right never hear this with our broken left speaker
Monotone they take the centre where the hatred is preaching
So this is Christmas
What have you done
The old year is over
And a new one’s begun

Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you
Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you

Well oh no it’s time to pay your dues love
And the po po get of my brother for what
Said we ain’t scared it’s now or never we’ve got
Brothers and sisters revolution what’s up
I said ohh no
It’s time you pay your dues love
And the po po you bitches pussy you suck
And we ain’t scared we fighting hard for the spot
Brothers and sisters revolution what’s up

Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you
Why don’t you listen to me?
Why don’t you listen to me?
Too uncomfortable
Too inconvenient
Too much truth for you

Talk on my life because I know it
I love my fellow people even if they don’t know it
Say it with my chest seeds of love I’m sowing
Hope for the brighter future is growing

See it over the horizon glowing
We’re are alive at a time it’s a beautiful moment
Say it with my chest seeds of love I’m sowing
We have to educate, elevate and keep growing
